Newsletter Submission Guidelines
The South PTO's 'What's the Buzz?" e-Newsletter is published weekly on Thursday. Material that is directly related to South School or the South PTO can be submitted to the Newsletter's mailbox: southptonews@yahoo.com by the end of the school day on Thursday. Hingham community news that is of interest to the South School population can be submitted and will be published as space allows.
Guidelines for submitting your material:
The Newsletter is for the entire South School community. Please help us keep our address list current. Please advise us of insertions or deletions to our e-mail address list by sending an e-mail to southptonews@yahoo.com.
Guidelines for submitting your material:
- No double spaces (one space between sentences).
- No special formatting (no tabs or fancy fonts, keep everything left justified).
- Blurbs should be around 100 words, with a maximum of 200 words.
- Include a succinct headline for your blurb.
- Deliver written blurb by email on email body (not as an attachment(s), although you may include a PDF if you would like your blurb to link to it)
- All flyers or other informational sheets you’d like your blurb to link to for more information must be in PDF format. We cannot link to Word or other file types.
- Content should be delivered before 3 pm two days before the newsletter is sent (to allow time for Mrs. Eastwood's review).
